for me the fall is all about the colours everywhere. the deep purples, crimson leaves, oranges and yellows with some remaining splashes of green. gorgeous!

I've lived in San Diego all of my life and we moved to Hemet, CA only a year ago, it's only 1 1/2 hrs drive but 110 plus weather... oh my!

In this valley I've learned to appreciate the colder weather I also love the falling leaves! Me and my kids have a picture taking project that will last a year! http://moncy3.blogspot.com/2010/09/seasons-change-week-2.html Have a good Autumn season!

Yay! It's the first day of fall ; D. One of our favorite seasons.. For two reasons - First we live right around the corner from Central Park and we get to walk through the every day and see all the beautiful colors of the leaves, it looks so colorful - and Miguelito loves jumping in the leaves. Second - Its just one season before Winter! Let it snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow! And Christmas is just so Beautiful - all the colors and happiness and excitement ; D

Oh, it's so many things. First... the trees! I love all the changing colours- the reds and golds and rusts. I am constantly stopping in my tracks, digging out my camera and taking another photo of yet another tree!
Second... the clothes. I love tights and skirts, scarves and cardigans. And not yet having to wear a big winter coat or boots.
Third... Starbucks, baby! I love that pumpkin spice latte oh-so-much!
Finally... the autumn holidays. We have Thanksgiving coming up in just a few weeks and after that, Halloween! The boys are wild for it. I love the pumpkins on the doorsteps, the kids' excitement about costumes and parties and jack o'lanterns.
Finally... after fall comes winter and you know what that means! CHRISTMAS!!!

Looking forward to our virtual date next week.... xoxoxoxox

Hmmmm, I really like the cozy snuggle sweater weather, but before it gets cold enough to snow/ice. I kind of hate snow. Blasphemy, I know.

Autumn is absolutely my favorite season; I love everything about it! :-) I love drinking hot tea in the evenings; opening up all of the windows in my apartment and then snuggling up under a blanket with my book; watching the leaves change; how the mountain air smells when the temps start to drop; Fall seems to be the perfect season for enjoying a glass of red wine with dinner; and of course, cardigans...I live in cardigans!

Autumn is my favorite, too. College football, trips to the pumpkin patch and apple orchard, Halloween and Thanksgiving, definitely the Pumpkin Spice lattes at Starbucks, the changing colors of the leaves, cooler weather, and bonfires with roasted marshmallows. Sigh.

My favorite thing about fall is the anticipation of the Christmas season. I LOVE when it gets chilly outside and Union Square in SF puts up the big Christmas tree, and you can walk around in scarves and hear Christmas music and shop for wonderful little gifts. :) I also love Thanksgiving, YUM.

I miss the bright changing colors of the leaves in Georgia. We don't get that in California. The weather is pretty much perfect all year round, but we have to sacrifice rainbow-colored leaves and thunderstorms.

i LOVE fall! i just booked a trip home next month to get a little dose of it. florida girls do not see fall like weather for a few more months...but my scarves and leggings will be waiting for the first sign of that lovely crisp weather :)

my favorite thing is pumpkin spice lattes. and the slight (and so subtle) change in temperature. we live in Florida so we don't get much, but for us it's drastic!

I love, love, love Fall!! Even though it seems to last only like a week in Texas. :( I love cool weather, fallen leaves, Halloween, good scary movies in the theaters! Costumes, coffee, cold nights with the window cracked open and the blow dryer blowing on my feet while reading a good book :D LOVE IT!

We're on our way into spring! Yay! I'm hoping it actually turns warm here! :) But I do so love the crisp autumn air and colors... especially, when I get a break from the perpetual winters around there!

I miss VA fall so much... all the different colors! Here in CO there aren't as many trees, but there is a spectacular week or two where all the aspens are on FIRE, bright yellow. It is breathtaking. But I still miss all the colors of VA.
